Vice President and Assistant General Counsel

Alycia Lyons Goody joined the Firm in 2008 and is responsible for providing legal support related to portfolio investments.  Ms. Goody also serves as EIF’s compliance officer.  She has over 23 years of experience in the energy industry.

Ms. Goody previously held the position of Senior Counsel at BTU Ventures in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she oversaw all legal activities for this energy-focused private equity firm whose asset portfolio is concentrated in the Middle East/North Africa region.  Prior to joining BTU Ventures, Ms. Goody served for several years as Vice President and Managing Counsel for Calpine Corporation.  At Calpine, Ms. Goody was responsible for all legal matters in the eastern, southeastern, and UK offices and supported a wide range of project development, asset management, acquisition, and divestiture activities.  Ms. Goody also has held positions at Providence Energy Corporation, the Office of the Attorney General in Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities.  Ms. Goody received a J.D. from Suffolk University and an A.B. from Trinity College in Washington DC.
